We are thrilled to introduce the Red Pages, our official online business directory! This platform showcases the incredible talent, professionalism, and entrepreneurial spirit within the North Harris County Alumnae Chapter. Many of our Sorors provide outstanding products and services, and the Red Pages is designed to connect their businesses with the needs of our chapter and our community.
As Black buying power continues to grow, projected to reach $2.1 trillion in 2026, it is vital that we do our part to circulate our dollars within our community and especially within our NHCAC sisterhood. The Red Pages not only highlights our Sorors’ businesses, but it also empowers us to buy Black, build legacies, and strengthen economic impact together.
Here’s how you can support:
- Shop with Sorors – Turn to the Red Pages first when you need products or services.
- Spread the Word – Share information about Soror-owned businesses with friends, family, and colleagues.
- Keep the Dollar Circulating – Research shows the average lifespan of the dollar is 28 days in Asian communities, 19 days in Jewish communities, 17 days in white communities and only six hours in Black communities. Together, we can change that!
Your Economic Development Committee encourages you to use the Red Pages as a go-to resource. Supporting Soror-owned businesses is one of the most powerful ways we can extend the life of the Black dollar and uplift our entire community.
